Geocache Description:


[This 1917 Garford Pumper is the Old Town Fire Department's first motorized fire engine which replaced the horses Ned and Ted that were used to pull the fire department pumper. This Garford Pumper is one of only two left in existence today, the other is in Australia. The city bought this for $3,310 and it was used up until 1959 when it was sold. This pumper has made it back to Old Town in 2017 and is now house in a scaled replica of the former Old Town Fire Department thanks to construction work by a group of University of Maine students. You may log this cache while you are there but you must send me the answers ASAP or your log will be deleted. to log this you must answer two questions #1 what is the license plate of this truck and #2 what are the 6 digit numbers on the utility pole to the left of the truck. .]
