Joaquim Gil Pinheiro conhecido pelo Pinheirinho nasceu no Alcaide em 1855 e emigrou para o Brasil em 1878. A este alcaidense se ficou a dever a exploração e canalização da água para abastecimento da população bem como a construção em 1914 do Chafariz da Praça. Tem o seu nome perpetuado na Praça com o busto no Chafariz.
É habitual a população sentar-se á volta do Pinheirinho.

Tirar uma foto onde deverá também aparecer o Chafariz/Pinheirinho devendo ser anexada ao registo online. Os registos que não cumprirem os requisitos serão apagados sem aviso prévio.

Joaquim Gil Pinheiro, known as Pinheirinho, was born in the Alcaide in 1855 and emigrated to Brazil in 1878. This Alcaidense was responsible for the exploration and channeling of water to supply the population, as well as the construction of the Chafariz da Praça in 1914. It has its name perpetuated in the Square with the bust in the Fountain.
It is customary for the population to sit around Pinheirinho.
To register the visit should:
Take a photo where you should also see the Chafariz / Pinheirinho and should be attached to the online registration. Records that do not meet the requirements will be deleted without notice.
