Deze Virtual wás gewijd aan het 'Archeologisch Museum 'De Kolonie' in Lommel. Ondergebracht in een beschermd monument 'Hoeve Corens', schetste het museum op een interactieve manier een beeld over mens en landschap in de Kempen tijdens de 12.000 jaar voor onze tijdsrekening. Het museum is inmiddels gesloten, maar biedt nu huisvesting aan het 'Archeohuis'.
De kernopdracht van het Archeohuis is deze: 'Het beheer van een onroerenderfgoeddepot dat archeologische ensembles, archeologische artefacten en de onderdelen van onroerend erfgoed in tijdelijke of permanente bewaring neemt, behoudt en documenteert.'
Wat dat betreft hebben ze de locatie goed gekozen.

This Virtual was dedicated to the archeological museum 'De Kolonie' in Lommel. Located in a protected monumental farmhouse 'Hoeve Corens', this museum showed in an interactieve way life and environment in the Kempen during the last 12.000 years. The museum has closed its doors, but is now home to the 'Archeo House'.
The main assignment of the Archeo house is this: 'To maintain a depot of the heritage of archeological settings and properties and to save, keep and document them'.
Considering this, they chose their location well.
