Dit is de tweede cache in de "Bambi loves..." serie
Ik ben verzot op boeken (zoals ja ook al kunt zien aan mijn andere geocache "Bambi loves books"). Helaas heb ik niet het geld om alle boeken die ik zou willen lezen te kopen. Gelukkig ben ik al mijn hele leven lid van bibliotheek Rotterdam. Met deze virtuele cache wil ik hen dan ook bedanken voor alle uren leesplezier, avonturen en nachtmerries (tja, ik lees nu eenmaal graag horror 
)
Hopelijk hebben jullie net zoveel plezier in de Bibliotheek als ik altijd heb als ik er weer eens rondzwerf.

Over bibliotheek Rotterdam
Ontstaan
De eerst bekende bemoeienis van de stad Rotterdam is in 1604 wanneer geld uitgetrokken wordt voor de inrichting van een 'publycke bibliotheke' ofwel de 'Bibliotheca Laurentiana' in de Laurenskerk. In 1799 eindigt de betrokkenheid van de stad bij deze bibliotheek vanwege de toen doorgevoerde scheiding van kerk en staat.
In 1869 wordt de grondslag gelegd voor de huidige Bibliotheek door archivaris J.H. Scheffer. Vanaf 1891 bestond in Museum Boymans twee maal per week de mogelijkheid voor iedereen om boeken te raadplegen. Dankzij de inspanningen van bibliothecaris Gerrit van Rijn bestond vanaf 1902 deze mogelijkheid 7 dagen per week. In 1907 kreeg de voormalige Gemeentebibliotheek een eigen onderkomen aan het Van Hogendorpsplein.
Vanaf 1923 tot 1983 was de Gemeentebibliotheek gevestigd aan de Nieuwe Markt nr. 1, met een zijgevel aan de Gedempte Botersloot, vlak bij de huidige Bibliotheek. Voor de entree stond het Vrijheidsbeeld van de Maagd van Holland.
Centrale Bibliotheek Rotterdam aan de Hoogstraat
Sinds 1983 is Bibliotheek Rotterdam gevestigd aan de Hoogstraat. Het is ontworpen door Jaap Bakema en Hans Boot. De architectuur doet denken aan het Centre Pompidou in Parijs, met stalen buizen die vanaf het dak langs de glazen gevel naar beneden lopen. Het gebouw wordt soms gekscherend de 'glazen waterval' genoemd. Op de gevel aan de gedempte Binnenrotte staat een tekst van Erasmus, inclusief zijn handtekening, in neon-buis letters: "Heel de wereld is mijn vaderland".
De cache
Wat moet je doen om de cache te kunnen loggen:
Ga naar bovenstaande coördinaten en vind het citaat van Lucebert hoog in de lucht. Om de antwoorden op de vragen te vinden zul je met dit citaat het coördinaat moeten uitrekenen waar ze te vinden zijn. Het is een makkelijke berekening die je op de volgende manier uitvoerd:
A = stapeltel het eerste woord
B = stapeltel het tweede woord
C = stapeltel het derde woord
D = stapeltel het vierde woord
E = stapeltel het vijfde woord
Met de antwoorden kun je naar de locatie van de antwoorden die je nodig hebt voor het loggen:

This is the second cache in the "Bambi loves ..." series
I love books (as you can see from my other geocache "Bambi loves books"). Unfortunately I don't have the money to buy all the books I would like to read. I have been a member of the Rotterdam library all my life, and with this virtual cache I want to thank them for all their hours enjoying reading, adventures and nightmares (yes well, I love to read horror )
I hope you have just as much in the Library as I always have when I’m roaming around.
About Rotterdam Library
Origin
The first known involvement of the city of Rotterdam is in 1604 when money is earmarked for the establishment of a 'publycke bibliotheke' or the 'Bibliotheca Laurentiana' in the Laurens church. In 1799 the involvement of the city with this library ends because of the then implemented separation of church and state.
In 1869 the foundation for the current Library is laid by archivist JH Scheffer. From In 1891 , Museum Boymans offered the opportunity for anyone to consult books twice a week. Thanks to the efforts of librarian Gerrit van Rijn existed from 1902 this possibility 7 days a week. In 1907 the former Municipal Library was given its own accommodation on the Van Hogendorpsplein.
From 1923 to 1983 , the Municipal Library was located at Nieuwe Markt no. 1, with a side façade on the Botersloot, close to the current Library. In front of the entrance stoot the Statue Virgin of Holland.
Rotterdam Central Library on the Hoogstraat
Since 1983, Rotterdam Library has been located on the Hoogstraat. It was designed by Jaap Bakema and Hans Boot. The architecture is reminiscent of it Center Pompidou in Paris, with steel pipes that run down the glass façade from the roof. The building is sometimes jokingly called the 'glass waterfall'. On the facade on the Binnenrotte is a text by Erasmus, including his signature in neontube letters: "The whole world is my homeland'.

What do you have to do to log the cache:
Go to the coordinates above and find the quote from Lucebert high in the air. To find the answers to the questions you need to log the cache, you will need to use this quote to calculate the coordinate where they can be found. It's an easy calculation:

Dies ist der zweite Cache in der Reihe "Bambi loves ...",
Ich liebe Bücher (wie Sie aus meinem anderen Geocache "Bambi loves books" ersehen können). Leider habe ich nicht das Geld, um alle Bücher zu schreiben, die ich machen würde. Ich war mein ganzes Leben lang Mitglied der Rotterdamer Bibliothek, und mit diesem virtuellen Cache möchte ich ihnen für all die Stunden Lesevergnügen, Abenteuer und Albträume danken (nun, ich lese gerne Horror ).
Hoffentlich haben Sie genauso viel Viel Spaß in der Bibliothek, wie ich es immer habe, wenn ich wieder herumstreife.

In 1799 endet die Einbindung der Stadt in diese Bibliothek aufgrund der dann umgesetzten Trennung von Kirche und Staat.
In 1869 legt der Archivar JH Scheffer den Grundstein für die heutige Bibliothek. Von Im Jahr 1891 bot das Museum Boymans jedem die Möglichkeit, zweimal pro Woche Bücher zu konsultieren. Dank der Bemühungen des Bibliothekars bestand Gerrit van Rijn aus 1902 diese möglichkeit 7 tage die woche. In 1907 erhieltStadtbibliothek die ehemaligeeine eigene Unterkunft am Van Hogendorpsplein.
Von 1923 bis 1983 befand sich die Stadtbibliothek am Nieuwe Markt Nr. 1 mit einer Seitenfassade an der Gedämpfter Boterslootin der Nähe der aktuellen Bibliothek. Am Eingang stand die Freiheitsstatue aus dem Jungfrau von Holland.

Seit 1983 befindet sich die Rotterdam Library in der Hoogstraat. Es wurde von entworfen Jaap Bakema und Hans Boot. Die Architektur erinnert daran Centre Pompidou in Paris, mit Stahlrohren, die die Glasfassade vom Dach herabführen. Das Gebäude wird manchmal scherzhaft als "Glaswasserfall" bezeichnet. An der Fassade auf der gedämpften Binnenrotte ist ein Text von Erasmus, einschließlich seiner Unterschrift Neonröhrenbuchstaben: "Die ganze Welt ist meine Heimat".
