Da ich das Glück hatte, einer von 4000 Geocachern zu sein, welche einen Virtual veröffentlichen dürfen, habe ich mich für die Buchbergwarte entschieden. Ein wahrlich traumhafter Ausblick (Schönwetter vorausgesetzt) macht einen Besuch auf dieser Warte zum Erlebnis.

Der Buchberg ist 469 m hoch und hat ein Gasthaus, ein Kinderspielplatz und die Aussichtswarte zu bieten. Die Warte ist 22,5 m hoch und wurde im September 2004 eröffnet. Sie ist nur bei Tageslicht geöffnet.

Die T-Wertung ergibt sich übrigens durch den Aufstieg auf die Warte.

Um den Cache zu loggen, gibt es vier Fragen vor Ort zu beantworten.

Fragen:

Auf der Plattform gibt es ein Fernrohr. Am Drehpunkt befindet sich ein schwarzer Ring mit orangen Streifen.

Wie viele Streifen sind es?

Auf der dreieckigen Plattform gibt es auf jeder Seite eine Panoramatafel.

Auf der NORD-Tafel ist eine Aussichtswarte eingezeichnet.

Wie viele Buchstaben hat der Namen (zwei Worte) dieser Warte?

Auf der OST-Tafel findet man den Jochgrabenberg und unweit davon den kleinen Jochgrabenberg.

Wie hoch ist der Höhenunterschied dieser beiden Berge?                     

Auf der SÜD/WEST-Tafel ist u.a. der Jauerling zu sehen.

Wie weit ist er entfernt?                                                                     

Für die Logfreigabe musst Du alle 4 Zahlen addieren = XXX und in die folgende  

E-Mailadresse einfügen:

Im Betreff den Cachernamen eintragen.

Wenn deine eingesetzte Zahl richtig ist, solltest Du längstens innerhalb weniger Minuten eine Antwort erhalten. Solange kannst Du ja die schöne Aussicht genießen.

Optional wäre es schön, wenn du ein Foto von der Warte an deinen Log anhängen könntest.

Since I was fortunate enough to be one of 4000 geocachers who are allowed to publish a Virtual, I decided to go to the Buchberg Look-out tower. A truly fantastic view (assuming fair weather) makes a visit to this vantage point an experience.

The Buchberg is 469 meters high and has an inn, a children's playground and the lookout tower. This is 22.5 m high and was opened in September 2004. It is only open during daylight hours.

Incidentally, the T-rating results from the ascent to the control room.

To log the cache, there are four questions to answer locally.

Questions:

There is a telescope on the platform. There is a black ring with orange stripes at the pivot point.

How many stripes is it?

On the triangular platform there is a panoramic board on each side.

On the NORTH board you can find another lookout tower.

How many letters does the name (two words) have?

On the EAST board you will find the Jochgrabenberg and not far from the Kleiner Jochgrabenberg.

What is the height difference of these two mountains?

 On the SOUTH / WEST board you can see the Jauerling.

How far is it?

For the log release you have to add all 4 numbers to the value XXX and insert into the following e-mail address:

Enter the cachername for the e-mail subject

If your number is correct, you should receive a response within a few minutes. As long as you can enjoy the beautiful view.
