L'invention du tube de peinture portatif, en 1840, puis le développement des lignes de chemin de fer – Auvers et L'Isle-Adam inaugurent leur gare en 1846, Argenteuil en 1851, Pontoise en 1872 –, font du Val-d'Oise un territoire de grande effervescence artistique.
Les paysagistes quittent volontiers leurs ateliers parisiens pour s'en aller peindre la campagne ou la mer. Dès lors, ils sillonnent les vallées de la Seine et de l'Oise, captant "sur le motif" les variations de l'atmosphère, le mouvement des nuages, le miroitement du soleil sur l'eau, mais aussi la fumée des usines, les régates de voiliers, les scènes de marché et les travaux des champs.
Dans la galerie, vous trouverez les tableaux que j'ai choisis parmi la multitude peints dans le Val d'Oise.
Chaque tableau possède un waypoint additionnel.
Votre mission pour pouvoir loguer:
Se rendre sur UN des waypoints. (Un seul suffit, mais vous pouvez visiter les autres, évidemment!)
Chercher et se positionner à l'endroit où le peintre a posé son chevalet puis prendre une photo. Elle doit adopter, approximativement, le même point de vue que le tableau. En guise de signature, votre pseudo doit apparaitre sur votre cliché.

The invention of the portable paint tube in 1840, followed by the development of railway lines—Auvers and L'Isle-Adam inaugurated their stations in 1846, Argenteuil in 1851, and Pontoise in 1872—made the Val-d'Oise a region of great artistic activity.
Landscape painters readily left their Parisian studios to paint the countryside or the sea. From then on, they crisscrossed the valleys of the Seine and the Oise, capturing "en plein air" the variations in the atmosphere, the movement of clouds, the shimmering of the sun on the water, but also factory smoke, sailing regattas, market scenes, and agricultural work.
In the gallery, you will find the paintings I have selected from the multitude painted in the Val-d'Oise.
Each painting has an additional waypoint.
