Tämä virtuaalikätkö johdattaa sinut tutustumaan Äkässaivon lampeen ja sen rannalla sijaitsevaan Seitapahtaan. Päästäksesi perille ja takaisin tulet kulkeneeksi noin 3km pitkän Äkässaivon luontopolun. Perillä kohteessa on kota, tulistelupaikka ja kuivakäymälä. Talvisin hiihtolatu kulkee jonkin matkan päässä saivon itäpuolella, mutta perille pääsy vaatinee lumikengät. Luontopolun voi talvipolkua pitkin kiertää lumikengillä ja usein ilmankin.

Logataksesi tämän kätkön sinun täytyy kulkea Äkässaivon Seitapahdan luokse annettuihin koordinaatteihin. Ota itsestäsi, GPS-laitteestasi tai vastaavasta omasta tavarasta kuva kivimuodostelman edessä. Kasvojen ei tarvitse näkyä kuvassa. Voit logata kätkön samantien löydetyksi, kun liität kuvan mukaan loggaukseen. Muista että muinaismuistoksi luokitellulle Seitapahdalle ei saa kiivetä !

This virtual cache leads you to exploring the small but deep Äkässaivo lake and a rocky formation called Seitapahta close to shoreline. To reach the location and come back you will hike approximately 3 km along the Äkässaivo nature trail. Close to final location there is a tipi-like hut, fireplace and toilet. In the wintertime, the cross country ski route passes by on the east side of the lake, but to reach the site you most likely need snow shoes. There is also winter path on the nature trail, which may or may not require snow shoes

Task
To log this virtual cache, you need to walk to Seitapahta at Äkässaivo to given coordinates. Take a photo of yourself or your GPS device or other personal item with Seitapahta rock formation visible in the picture (your face doesn’t need to show in picture). Attach your photo to ’found it’ log. Please remember that climbing to Seitapahta is not allowed due to historical monument protection reasons.
