Die Drau ist mit einem Einzugsgebiet von rund 11.828 km² Österreichs drittwichtigster Fluss nach Donau und Inn. Die fünf Quellen der Drau entspringen in Südtirol nahe dem Toblacher Sattel. Nach kurzer Strecke gelangt der Fluss nach Österreich, durchquert das Pustertal in Osttirol und erreicht bei Oberdrauburg das Bundesland Kärnten. In weiterer Folge fließt die Drau durch die Untersteiermark und Kroatien und mündet schließlich bei Osijek in die Donau. Mit einer Länge von 749 km und einem mittleren Abfluss von 670 m³/s ist die Drau nach Theiß, Pruth und Save der viertlängste Nebenfluss der Donau.
DE Logbedingungen: Um diesen Geocache loggen zu können, besorge dir ein Boot und begib dich an WP1 auf den Drau-Stausee.
1. Fahre zunächst westlich an der Eisenbahnbrücke entlang bis im Süden einen Durchlass findest (quadratische Tafel mit rotem Rand - das schwarze Dreieck oben bedeutet Kopf einziehen 
). Die Aufgabe hier entfällt seit die Brücke renoviert wurde.
2. Fahre nun durch den Durchlass und weiter zur Straßenbrücke. Dort suche Detail 2 und notiere dir das Datum (xx.xx.xxxx).
3. Fahre nun noch ca. 500m weiter Richtung Osten. Dort findest du am linken (nördlichen) Drauufer Detail 3 (gelbe Tafel mit schwarzer 7). Welcher Buchstabe ist unter der Tafel (am Rohr) erkennbar?
4. Mach ein Foto von dir oder einem Teil deines Bootes an den Headerkoordinaten mit Eisenbahnbrücke oder Hollenburg im Hintergrund. Man soll erkennen können, dass du dich auf dem Wasser befindest.
Sende mir die Antworten zu und hänge das Foto an deinen Logeintrag. Du darfst sofort loggen - ich melde mich, wenn etwas nicht passt. Bei falschen Antworten behalte ich mir auch das Löschen des Logeintrages vor.

EN Logging conditions: For logging this cache, take a boat and start your journey at WP1.
1. Go alongside West of the railway bridge until you find a square sign with a red border. The black triangle means: you'd better duck your head . Since the bridge was repainted, detail 1 can not be found anymore.
2. So move on to the street-bridge in the East. Find detail 2 and write down the date date (xx.xx.xxxx).
3. Afterwards you go another approximately 500m to the East. There you will find detail 3 at the left river bank. It is a yellow sign with a black 7 on it. Which letter can you see right below the sign on the pole?
4. Make a photo of you or a part of your boat at the header coordinates, with either railway bridge or the Hollenburg in the background. The photo should make clear that you are actually on the water.
Send me your answers and attach the photo to your log. You may log at once - I will contact you in case anything should be wrong. Wrong answers or missing resp. inappropriate photos could lead to the deletion of the log entry.
!!! The use of public waters with small rowing vehicles is generally permitted in Austria. Nevertheless, you should inform yourself about the legal basics for the use of small boats on public waters in Austria (e.g. by reading the attached short version). Be careful! You do this undertaking on your own risk. If weather conditions or your own physical conditions are not good enough, better stay at the shore.
