With an elevation of 3978 meters Acatenango is the third highest volcano in Central America. The epic hike necessary for this virtual cache takes you to the summit of the most beautiful volcano in Guatemala with incredible views of the active volcano Fuego. As far as i know it is mandatory to have a guide for the 1.5 days tour. The first day you will climb up about 1300 height metres (about 4265 feet), then sleep in a height of 3600m above sea level. The next morning before sunrise another 400 height metres (about 1312 feet) need to be climbed to get to the coordinates. I suggest enjoying the sunset before taking the necessary picture with the cross (See example in the gallery). It is absolutely mandatory to have a paper with your GC name on the picture (a face isn't a must, just optional). All other logs will be deleted without further information!

Mit einer Höhe von 3978 Metern ist Acatenango der dritthöchste Vulkan Mittelamerikas. Die tolle Wanderung, die für diesen virtuellen Cache erforderlich ist, führt zum Gipfel des schönsten Vulkans in Guatemala mit einer unglaublichen Aussicht auf den aktiven Vulkan Fuego. Soweit ich weiß, ist es obligatorisch, einen Führer für die 1,5-tägige Tour zu nehmen. Am ersten Tag werden ungefähr 1300 Höhenmeter erklommen und dann schläft man normalerweise in einer Höhe von 3600 m über dem Meeresspiegel. Am nächsten Morgen vor Sonnenaufgang müssen weitere 400 Höhenmeter bestiegen werden, um zu den Koordinaten zu gelangen. Ich schlage vor, den Sonnenuntergang zu genießen, bevor das notwendige Bild mit dem Kreuz (Beispiel in der Cache-Gallery) für die Logbedingung gemacht wird. Es ist für einen gültigen Fund unbedingt erforderlich, einen Zettel mit den GC-Namen auf dem Bild zu haben (Das Gesicht hingegen muss nicht zwingend mit drauf sein). Alle anderen Logs werden ohne weitere Information gelöscht!

La caminata épica necesaria para este caché virtual lo lleva a la cumbre del volcán más hermoso de Guatemala con increíbles vistas del volcán activo de Fuego. Hasta donde sé, es obligatorio tener un guía para el recorrido de 1,5 días. El primer día subirás unos 1300 metros de altura, luego dormirás a una altura de 3600m sobre el nivel del mar. A la mañana siguiente, antes del amanecer, se deben subir otros 400 metros de altura para llegar a las coordenadas. Sugiero disfrutar del atardecer antes de tomar la foto necesaria con la cruz (ejemplo en la galeria del cache). Es absolutamente obligatorio tener un papel con su nombre de GC en la imagen (la faz solo es opcional). ¡Todos los demás registros se eliminarán sin más información!
