Imagine the time before WWII. Somewhere here, in the corner of the market square there stood a lamp post with a loudspeaker that played classical music. A boy, some 5 or 6 years old, kept biking around the post to listen to the music – the only chance he had. The boy, whose name was Arvo Pärt, grew up to become a composer, and the town of Rakvere erected this statue to honor him in 2010. People seem to like the statue – in winter often a scarf appears around his neck to protect the boy from the elements, and on September 1 – the day school begins – a satchel has been seen on his back. And of course every visitor of the town wants to take a picture with the boy.
To score this story as a virtual geocache you have to fulfill two tasks:
1. Take a picture of yourself with the boy and add to your log. Use your imagination – no need to expose your face if you don’t feel like, instead use some personal item or GPS or part of your body or ... Remember, boys are small and need care!
2. Walk to the school at WP 01. There is an info board near the entrance that explains the history of the building, take the last year from it (bottom line) and feed that to the checker - and don't stay anonymous! If your answer is correct, please feel free to submit your log.
You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.
Kunagi enne sõda seisnud siin laternapost ja selle otsas mänginud valjuhääldi klassikalist muusikat. Noor Arvo tiirutas rattaga ümber posti ja kuulas, sest muusika oli nii ilus ... Seaküla Simsoni skulptuuri püstitas Rakvere linn siia 2010, ja paistab, et rahvale see kuju meeldib. Talveks tekib talle sageli sall kaela, ja esimesel koolipäeval olla isegi ranitsat ta seljas nähtud.
