Nationalpark Skjoldungernes Land er Sjællands første nationalpark, som blev indviet i 2015.
Nationalparken ligger ved Roskilde og Lejre på Midtsjælland, kun 30 minutters kørsel fra København, og det vrimler med oplevelser.
Her har mennesker levet siden tidernes morgen og efterladt sig spor. Og det er ikke så sært.
Nationalparkens 170 kvadratkilometer rummer enestående natur, kulturhistorie og nogle af de smukkeste landskaber i Danmark.
Her er Roskilde Fjord med strandenge, kystskrænter, øer, holme og et enestående fugleliv, og man kan forsvinde ind de store midtsjællandske løvskove med vandrestier og lejrpladser, eller mærke historiens vingesus ved oldtidens kulturspor i istidslandskabet.
Nationalparken rummer en mosaik af naturperler, som kan opleves på cykel og gåben. De mange stier, shelters og ture i nationalparken giver besøgende mulighed for selv at opleve naturen, kulturhistorien og landskabet helt tæt på.

Here people have lived since the dawn of time and left traces. And it's not that strange.
The National Park's 170 square kilometers contains unique nature, cultural history and some of the most beautiful landscapes in Denmark.
Here is Roskilde Fjord with salt marshes, coastal slopes, islands, islets and a unique bird life, and you can disappear into the large Middle Zealand forest forests with hiking trails and shelters or feel the history's wine sights at ancient cultural trails in the ice age landscape.
The national park contains a mosaic of natural pearls that can be experienced by bike and walking. The many trails, shelters and walks in the national park allow visitors to experience nature, cultural history and the landscape very close by.
