The Sourtoe cocktail
The Sourtoe cocktail is one of the main attractions of Dawson City. For those who don't know about it, here is the recipe :
1oz of alcohol + 1 mummified human toe
Dawson City is the only place on Earth where you can find a cocktail with a human part as an ingredient.
History of the cocktail:
After finding a frozen human toe in an abandoned cabin, Captain Dick Stevenson decided to create a cocktail with it in 1973. More than ten toes have been used so far, because some were lost, stolen, swallowed, chewed, used up... In memory of those toes, a tombstone have been erected in front of the saloon. This tombstone is updated every time an "incident" occures.
Finding the virtual cache:
When you'll stand at ground zero you will be right in front of the Sourdough Saloon, "Home of the sourtoe cocktail". If you look at your feet you will find the tombstone you're looking for.
Logging the virtual cache:
1 - Send me a private message with an estimation of the dimensions of the tombstone ( L x H x W )
2 - Upload a photo of your feet (of maybe your toes) in front of the tombstone.
3 - Upload a photo of you experiencing the sourtoe cocktail (optional)
No need to wait for my approval in order to log the cache. If something seems wrong I will contact you and/or delete your log.
