W tym miejscu, dokładnie na tych samych współrzędnych, odbył się pierwszy w Polsce mega event - MEGA EVENT Poland 2013.
Wydarzenie odbyło się w dniach 24-26 maja 2013 r. Główny event odbył się 25 maja w strugach ulewnego deszczu :)
W przygotowanie i organizację eventu zaangażowana była polska społeczność geocacherska, wolontariusze z różnych stron Polski: barbra_zb, geoplumPL, Goszka, Yuriko*, BOX Team PL, fosgen61, geomayor team, hanbei, kuchomik (赏月者), maciejew, miklobit, ru.beus, sadekgorzno, seba020, semaprint, slecha, Soolash (ToniejaToon), wantsky, y_a_h_oo, reviewerzy : Kashubian Reviewer, Silesian Reviewer oraz m.in. Urząd Miasta i Gminy w Górznie, Gminny Ośrodek Kultury w Górznie, Zespół Szkół w Górznie, Stajnia Leźno, Lasy Państwowe. Wiele zaangażowanych osób, którzy często wcześniej nie wiedzieli o istnieniu takiego miasteczka jak Górzno.
Centrala HQ przyglądała się nam uważnie i dopiero na koniec weekendu postanowiono przyznać nam status mega.
Tym samym polska społeczność geocacherska doczekała się swojego pierwszego mega eventu.
Niech ten kesz będzie pokłonem dla wszystkich, którzy wtedy i dzisiaj aktywnie angażują się w rozwój geocachingu w Polsce. Niech będzie miłą pamiątką dla polskiej społeczności geocacherskiej, oraz dla tych którzy wtedy uczestniczyli w tym wydarzeniu.

In this place, exactly at the same coordinates, the first mega event in Poland - MEGA EVENT Poland 2013 - took place.
The event took place from 24th to 26th of May 2013. The main event took place on 25th of May in the pouring rain :)
The Polish geocacher community and volunteers from various parts of Poland were involved in the preparation and organization of the event: barbra_zb, geoplumPL, Goszka, Yuriko*, BOX Team PL, fosgen61, geomayor team, hanbei, kuchomik (赏月 者), maciejew, miklobit, ru.beus, sadekgorzno, seba020, semaprint, slecha, Soolash (ToniejaToon), wantsky, y_a_h_oo, Reviewers: Kashubian Reviewer, Silesian Reviewer and also Municipal and Communal Office in Górzno, Community Center of Culture in Górzno, School Complex in Górzno, Stable Leźno, State Forests. Lots of people were involved, who often never heard before about such town as Górzno.
The Headquarters watched us closely and it was only at the end of the weekend that the HQ decided to grant the event Mega status. Thus, the Polish geocacher community had its first mega event.
Let this cache be a tribute to all those who, then and today, are actively involved in the development of geocaching in Poland. Let it be a nice souvenir for the Polish geocacher community and for those who participated in this event.
