Sokosti on Saariselän tuntureista korkein.
Korkein laki on 718 metrin korkeudessa.
Se sijaitsee Urho Kekkosen kansallispuistossa, Luirojärven itäpuolella.
Etäisyys Luirojärvelle on noin kuusi kilometriä ja korkeusero Luirojärven pintaan on noin 435 metriä.
Tehtävät:
1. Mene annettuihin koordinaatteihin ja ota kuva kohti länttä (Luirojärveä).
Kuvassa pitää näkyä korkein kohta sekä joku osa itsestäsi tai gps-laitteestasi / nimimerkkisi.
Kasvoja ei ole pakko kuvata.
2. Ota maisemakuva korkeimman kohdan vierestä kohti Luirojärveä.
3. Liitä kuvat lokkaukseesi, ja kerro matkastasi, mistä olet tulossa sekä minne olet menossa.
Vain julkaisun jälkeiset kuvat hyväksytään.

Matkaa Kiilopäältä on noin 45 km reitistä riippuen.
Varaudu hyvin, suunnittele reitti huolella.
Ota mukaan kunnon kartta ja kompassi sekä riittävästi ruokaa, ja vaatteita.

Sokosti is the highest mountain in Saariselkä.
The highest top is located at a height of 718 meters.
It’s located in the Urho Kekkonen national park and the East side of lake Luirojärvi.
Destination to Luirojärvi is about 6 kilometers and the height difference to the surface of Luirojärvi is around 435 meters.
Missions:
1. Go to the given coordinates and take a picture facing the west (Luirojärvi)
The picture needs to include the highest point of Sokosti and a part of yourself, your GPS or your nickname.
You don’t need to film your face.
2. Take a landscape picture next to the highest point towards Luirojärvi.
3. Attach the pictures into your log and explain your trip, where you’re coming from and where you are going.
Only pictures taken after the cache publish are accepted.
You can also send the pictures through the message system or email: sokosti.virtual@gmail.com and mention it in your log.
The trip from Kiilopää is about 45 kilometers depending on the route.
Prepare yourself completely and plan the route well.
Make sure to take a proper map, a compass, enough food and clothes with you.
