This was the site where the TV signal from the moon was recieved, and broadcast live around the world, so that we were able to watch as Neil Armstrong descended the ladder of the lunar module, paused to utter those now famous words "One small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind", planted his left footprint in the lunar dust, and continued on to be the first Human to walk on the Moon. I was only in Primary School, but I still remember watching it :)
The Antenna, that used to be here, is the real "dish" that recieved the TV signal (not the one in the movie "The Dish" - that one recieved the signal a bit later on). This antenna dish also recieved signals from many other manned, and unmanned, missions, then it was moved to its present location (at the Canberra Deep Space Network tracking station, at Tidbinbilla, where it continued to recieve many more signals from things we had sent into space, before it was eventually retired.
To "find" this cache, you need to go to GZ, take a photo with the structure/remains of the antenna, to show that you were there, and post it with your "Found" log. The photo can include you, or your GPSr (or phone if, like me, that is what you cache with), or your caching name written on something, or someone you were there caching with, or whatever creative way to show that you are actually there :)
If you are unable to take a photo and/or upload a photo with your log, or find some other creative way to show that you were there, then you can send me a message (via the Geocaching app/website) with the answer to this question: There are 4 triangular metal structures around the central marker/pole, They each have a blue panel with some written information, and under the blue panel, painted in white on the metal - there are a few words, that are kind of a "title" for what is written above it. What does that "title" say, on each of those 4 objects? (Please don't post this answer in your log)
