This shared cycling and pedestrian bridge crosses the Manawatu River, approximately one kilometre west of the Fitzherbert Bridge. The pathway traverses dairy farms, forests, pa sites, a military camp, streams, and leading directly to Massey University FoodHQ. The bridge and pathways were opened in June 2019, costing $19 million - a commuter link for the almost 18,000 people who live or work in the vicinity, and for tourists to explore and enjoy the area.
