Down a short country dirt road, you will find the Comfort Maple. The laneway can be a bit rough at times, but certainly not bad at all.
The Ontario Forestry Association believes this tree could be as old as 541(as of 2019), but this is an approximation as the maple’s rings have never been counted. The tree is named for the Comfort family, who acquired the land in 1816. The land owned by John B. Comfort, and a sign at the site tells visitors that the tree and the land around it were donated to the Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority on April 30, 1961 by Miss Edna Eleanor Comfort
To log this cache...there are two small boulders to the left and right of GZ when facing this majestic tree.

1) find the 4 digit year at the bottom of the boulder on the left
2) find the 4 digit year at the bottom of the boulder on the right
3) Create an eight (8) digit number - left boulder number first and right boulder number second. Example: 1812 + 1923 becomes 18121923 .... email your 8 digit number to GC########@outlook.com .... if you are correct you will get a congratulatory email (check your spam folder)
4) Take a photo of yourself (if you wish, you do not have to show your face) with the tree directly behind you from the given coordinates. Alternatively, you may include a personal item (or perhaps your caching name written on a piece of paper) in your photo which should be included with your log
