A "neverending journey" on the walls of Milan

Che cos'è "un viaggio senza fine"? Certamente il Geocaching, che ci porta ovunque nel mondo a cercare scatoline e ad ammirare cose nuove. Certamente un viaggio senza fine è ogni bella esperienza che viviamo, forse l'amore... e per voi? Spero che questa Virtual Cache sia per voi un bel viaggio, che alla fine scoprirete che... è senza fine!

What is a "neverending journey"? Geocaching, for sure, that brings all of us everywhere looking for new founds and new awesome things. For sure, a neverending journey is every great experience we made, maybe love... and for you? I really hope that this Virtual Cache will be for all of you a good journey, at the end we will find that... is neverending!

I murales di Milano

Milano è ricca di murales stupendi, sia in centro che nelle periferie. Sarebbe fantastico portarvi a vederli tutti ma sarebbe veramente un viaggio senza fine. Tuttavia, questa Virtual Cache vi farà fare un piccolo percorso (30 minuti circa a piedi andando forte, un'oretta andando piano) alla scoperta di alcuni murales, unici perché raccontano la storia di Milano. Lungo il tragitto, come indicato dalla descrizione degli waypoint, potrete ammirare alcuni tra i più bei luoghi di Milano e, non guasta mai, cercare qualche ottima cache.

Milan has wonderful wall painting, both in the Center and in the suburbian areas. It would be awesome to bring you and show you all of them but it might be literally a neverending journey! However, this Virtual Cache will take you to a little trail (about 30 minutes walking fast, about 60 enjoying the walk) discovering some "murales", uniques because they tell us the history of Milano. Along the way, as you may find on the description of the waypoints, you could admire some of the most beautiful places in Milan e, why not, grab some high quality caches.

Step 1 - Arte e cultura milanesi

Andate allo Step 1, godetevi questo delizioso angolo di Milano e i ritratti di alcuni tra i più grandi nomi della cultura milanese. Provate a riconoscere i personaggi che vedete qui in foto e fotografatene uno.

Go to step 1, enjoy this delightful corner of Milan and the portraits of some of the most important people who made great the milanese culture. Try to recognize the characters you can see on the picture below and take a picture of one of them.

Step 2 - Storia antica di Milano

Andate allo Step 2, godetevi le Colonne di San Lorenzo e i ritratti di alcuni tra i più grandi nomi ed episodi della storia milanese. Provate a riconoscere il personaggio che vedete qui in foto e fotografatelo. Edit: il murales del personaggio in questione è stato vandalizzato (nemesi postuma, visto il personaggio), per cui va benissimo una foto della zona.

Go to Step 2, enjoy Colonne di San Lorenzo and the paintings of some of the most important people who made the history of Milan. Try to recognize the guy on the picture below and take a picture of him. Edit: the image of the guy has been vandalized (haha, isn't this ironic?) so it will be ok a picture of the area.

Step 3 - Arte all'angolo

Andate allo Step 3, godetevi la Darsena e l'angolo tra Viale Gorizia e Via Vigevano, interamente coperto di disegni e street art. Fotografate un particolare del disegno che si trova dall'altra parte dell'angolo rispetto al disegno in foto.

Go to Step 3, enjoy Darsena and the corner between Viale Gorizia and Via Vigevano, entirely covered on paintings and street art. take a picure of one detail you like, from the other side of the corner you can see on the picture below.

Final - Neverending journey

Eccoci alla fine-senza-fine del nostro viaggio. Godetevi la sorpresa e, per poter concludere il log, fotografate SOLO il vostro dito che indica il vostro genere preferito, non l'intero disegno, per lasciare la sorpresa ai prossimi Geocachers. Se ora non capite cosa voglia dire "genere preferito" non preoccupatevi: sul posto lo capirete!
