Das Rathaus in Stockerau ist der westliche Abschluss des Rathausplatzes. Das anfänglich als Wasserschloss ausgebildete ehemalige Schloss Puchheim wurde 1656 vom Graf Johann Christoph Puchheim gekauft, ging durch Erbschaft in den Besitz der Familie Schönborn über und wurde 1716 vom Markt Stockerau erworben. Der Südflügel, Donaustraße Nr. 24, früher direkt an einem Seitenarm der Donau gelegen, stammt aus dem 16. Jh., daran schließt sich gegen Norden das L-förmige, barocke Haupthaus an, errichtet 1738 bis 1740. Der nördliche und letzte Zubau erfolgte 1874.
The city hall in Stockerau is the western end of the Rathausplatz. Formerly designed as a moated castle former castle Puchheim was purchased in 1656 by Count Johann Christoph Puchheim, passed by inheritance into the possession of the family Schönborn and was acquired in 1716 from the market Stockerau. Deine Aufgaben vor Ort:
- Gehe zum Haupteingang des Rathauses (Headerkoordinaten), rechts von dem mächtigen Tor findest Du eine Informationstafel. Auf dieser Tafel siehst Du rechts oben das Logo eines bekannten Vereins, in dessen Mittelkreis sich ein Großbuchstabe befindet – notiere diesen für BS1.
- Etwa 5 Meter rechts von der Informationstafel befindet sich eine Dachrinne, die in einen Sinkkasten mündet. Dieser Sinkkasten hat einen gusseisernen Deckel, auf dem Du 2 Buchstaben findest – notiere diese wiederum, den oberen für BS2 und den unteren für BS3.
- Nochmals ein paar Meter weiter nördlich findest Du einen amtlichen Messpunkt, der mit 2 Buchstaben gekennzeichnet ist (nicht HM) – notiere diese ebenso, den linken für BS4 und den rechten für BS5.
- Hast Du alle Buchstaben gesammelt schicke mir diese entweder per E-Mail oder via Geocaching und füge Deiner Nachricht Deinen Nicknamen bei. Du kannst schon vorab logen, sollte etwas nicht stimmen werde ich mich melden. (Beispiel: BS1 + BS2 + BS3 + BS4 + BS5 = „ABCDE“)
- Mache von Dir (Gesicht muss nicht erkennbar sein) oder Deinem GPS/Handy ein Foto vor dem Haupteingang und füge es Deinem Log bei.
Sollten diese 2 Bedingungen (Nachricht und Foto) nicht erfüllt sein, wird der Log gelöscht!
Your tasks on the spot:
- Go to the main entrance of the town hall (header coordinates), to the right of the mighty gate you will find an information board. On this board you can see the logo of a well-known club in the middle circle with a capital letter - note this for BS1.
- About 5 meters to the right of the information board is a gutter that ends into a gully. This gully has a cast-iron lid on which you will find 2 letters – even note these, the upper one for BS2 and the lower one for BS3.
- A few meters further north you will find an official measuring point marked with 2 letters (not HM) - note these as well, the left one for BS4 and the right one for BS5.
- If you have collected all the letters send them either by e-mail or via geocaching and add your nickname to your message. You can log in advance, if something is wrong I will contact you. (Example: BS1 + BS2 + BS3 + BS4 + BS5 = "ABCDE")
- Make a photo of yourself (face must not be visible) or of your GPS/mobil phone in front of the main entrance and attach it to your log.
If these 2 conditions (message and photo) are not met, the log will be deleted!
