Shirley Hills already has some great caches and so I thought it deserved a virtual. The coordinates take you to the viewpoint. Here you can see all across London and the new buildings popping up in Croydon. There are two car parks, if you want a nice walk up you can park in the lower car park on Oaks Road. The top car park is located off Shirley Hills Road. The tram stops nearby. There are lots of caches in this woods, if you are planning a day of caching please do note that it is not recommended to be here after dark. Certain nocturnal activities go on here.
To claim this cache you need to do the following. Take something to write your caching name and the date on, take this to the viewpoint and get a picture of it and, if visible the Croydon skyline. If you come on a day with limited visibility you can take a picture with your caching name and date with the coordinates on the brass circle on the floor. Only pictures with the correct date will be accepted, pictures taken before the date of publication will not be accepted.
