Ein Virtual Cache von Team Metalcat
Die Gloriette in Schönbrunn wurde im Jahr 1775 als letzte Baulichkeit des Gartens nach Plänen Johann Ferdinand Hetzendorf von Hohenberg als „Ruhmestempel“, zugleich Hauptblickfang (Point de vue) des Gartens, erbaut. Für den Bau der Gloriette entschied Kaiserin Maria Theresia, alte Teile vom "Schloss Neugebäude" dafür zu verwenden.
Recycling war also auch schon im 18.Jahrhundert ein Thema.
Deine Aufgaben um diesen Virtual Cache zu loggen:
Mach ein Foto von dir und deinem GPS Gerät vor der Gloriette und füge es deinem Log bei.
An den vier Ecken der Gloriette befinden sich überlebensgroße Wächterstatuen.
An einer von dieser Statuen findest du vier Buchstaben. Sie stehen für einen lateinischen Spruch.
Nimm das erste Wort dieses Spruches als wort1.
Im Zweiten Weltkrieg wurde die Gloriette leicht beschädigt. In unmittelbarer Nähe liegen
einige Trümmerteile dieses Treffers. Auf einer Tafel davor stehen einige Informationen dazu.
Nimm das letzte Wort auf dieser Tafel als wort2. Etwaige Umlaute bitte ignorieren.

Take a picture of yourself and your GPS device in front of the Gloriette and attach it to your log.
At the four corners of the Gloriette there are larger than life guard statues.
On one of these you will find four letters. They stand for one Latin saying.
Take the first word of this saying as word1.
During the Second World War, the Gloriette was slightly damaged. Nearby you find
some remaining parts of the originals. You find the needed information on the Info-board
right in front of it.
Take the last word on this board as word2.
