Geocache Description:

Ambuluwawa Tower

Ambuluwawa mountain holds a hill top tourist spot that houses a biodiversity complex celebrating environmentalism and cultural and religious diversity. A notable feature of this complex is a large winding tower called Ambuluwawa Tower resembling a Buddhist stupa, which is located on the mountain peak. This white tower is a spectrum of joy and scerenity from the top with a flamboyant picturesque covering a 360 degree view of mountains, forests, rivers, towns and so much more.

Further up you climb the tower steps gets thinner. Top of a tower gets to the point where it can fit only one person at a time. Tower stands at a height of approximately 48 meters (157ft) and is located about 25 km from Kandy, Sri Lanka's second largest city recognized as the island nation's cultural capital. Kandy is on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
