Funikulaari

eli rinnehissi. Ala-aseman osoite on Linnankatu 55b Turku. Funikulaarin käyttö on ilmaista ainakin aluksi(2019). Se kuljettaa geokätköilijän ylös n. 2 minuutissa, alaoven avauksesta, yläoven avaukseen. Käyttö on hyvin samakaltaista kuin hissin: kutsunappula, oven avaus, hälytys. Kohteeseen pääsee myös ilman funikulaaria, serpentiinipolkua tai autotietä pitkin.

Kakola

Rakennus on entinen rangaistusvankila, ensimmäinen osa valmistui 1853 ja toiminta jatkui vuoteen 2007. Nykyisin rakennus on asuinkäytössä ja alueella on myös myymälöitä ja ravitsemusliikkeitä. Sisäpihan puolelta saa hyvän käsityksen rakennuksesta ja V-muotoisesta siipirakennuksesta.

Logataksesi virtuaalikätkön, mene annettuhin koordinaatteihin, joko funikulaarilla tai muulla tavoin. Ota itsestäsi uusi kuva niin että taustalla näkyy joko Kakola tai funikulaari, kumpi on mielestäsi parempi. Liitä kuva lokkaukseen. Kasvojen ei tarvitse näkyä kuvassa.

Funicular

or inclined elevator. The sub-station address is Linnankatu 55b Turku. The use of the funicular is free at least at the start (2019). It takes the geocacher up in approximately 2 minutes, from the opening of the lower door to the opening of the upper door. Using it is very similar to an elevator: call button, door opening, alarm. You can also get to the location without the funicular, using the hiking path or the road.

Kakola

The building is a former punishment prison. The first part was completed the year 1853 and th usage continued to the year 2007. Nowdays the building is used for living purposes and the area has shops and eateries. You get a good understanding of the building and the V-shaped extension from the inner ward.

To log the virtual cache, go to the given coordinates, either using the funicular or other means. Take a new picture of yourself so in the background you can see either Kakola or the funicular, either one you think is better. Attach the picture to your log. Your face doesn't have to be shown in the picture.
