26. DESEMBER 1979 BLE SJIMPANSEN JULIUS FØDT. Julius er vel det dyret de fleste forbinder med Kristiansand dyrepark. 12. februar 1980 ble Julius angrepet av moren Sanne som bet av han en finger og han ble deretter avvist av moren bare 6 uker gammel. Julius må nå forlate dyreparken og vokser opp hjemme hos familiene Moseid og Glad. Og etter utallige TV opptredener og bøker og sanger er han blitt en "kjendis". I dag har Julius bursdag. Det blir alltid feiret med kake og brus inne i dyreparken.

English: On December 26 1979 was the chimpanzee Julius born. Julius is the animal most Norwegians think of in connection to the zoo. February 12 1980 Julius was attacked by his mother Sanne, who bit one of his fingers off. He was then rejected by his mother. So Julius left the zoo, and stayed with the families of Moseid and Glad. He was a troubled youth when he was returned to the park, and escaped several times from the enclosure (but was always found close to the cafe, because he loves sweets). After several tv-shows he has become a celebrity. Today is Julius` birthday, and this is always celebrated with cake and soda.
This year, 2019, Julius celebrates his 40 birthday. The task: Julius is missing a finger. Which one? Go to the given coordinates and take a picture of your hand in front of the giraffe statue, while showing how the hand of Julius looks now.
