Welcome to the marvellous Mount Lawley! This cache will take you on a journey around Beaufort Street. On your trip you will explore the artwork and history of this unique strip. You will have to visit 4 different locations on Beaufort St. Good luck!
Stage 1: This stage is located on the corner of Beaufort and Vincent streets. At this stage you will discover a bronze sculpture called Rabbitwomen and Dogman. This sculpture was created by artist Gillie and Marc who have worked together for over 25 years

Stage 2: This stage is located at the Barlee Street carpark. Here is a sculpture of the words Beaufort Street.

Stage 3: At this stage you will discover some elaborate street art depicting scenes from the well known television show Seinfeld.
Task 4: Take a photo of either yourself or a personal item with the street art
Stage 4: This stage will take you to the iconic Astor Cinema which was constructed in 1914/15 and under was redesigned in 1939. It was originially known as Lyceum Theatre and then the State Theatre. It was placed on the State Register of Heritage Places in 1999. It no longer shows movies rather being home to live preformances. At the coordinates you will find a plaque commenorating the Beaufort Street Tramline.
