En honor a San Vicente Ferrer y a la Virgen de los Desamparados (Alcoleja)
Las fiestas patronales se llevan a cabo en agosto. Se celebran en honor a San Vicente de Ferrer y a la Virgen de los Desamparados.
En las fiestas se realizan diversas actividades religiosas, como la procesión de San Vicente de Ferrer, la de la Virgen de los Desamparados o el canto coral en la misa de la Virgen, aunque el acto religioso más destacado y representativo es el "Cant de l'Aurora" seguido de una "xocolatada" para los asistentes celebrado en el amanecer del sábado.
También se realizan actividades lúdicas como la fiesta de los disfraces, verbenas y una gran paellada en la plaza del pueblo.
El segundo fin de semana de mayo se realiza la romería de la Virgen de los Desamparados a la capilla de Beniafé, pedanía Alcoleja, el traslado de la Virgen es realizado por mujeres del pueblo.
EL CACHÉ
Uno de los lugares mas emblemáticos en este pequeño pueblo es la torre y el palacio de los Marqueses de Malferit que se encuentra en la Plaza del Palau, junto a la iglesia parroquial de Alcoleja.
Los elementos más destacados de esta casa palacio son la singular torre adosada al edificio, y el gran portalón con arco de medio punto. La torre es de planta circular, de base troncocónica, y rematada por una cubierta cónica de época más tardía. En ella se distinguen el escudo de la familia y varias ventanas adinteladas.
Para registrar este caché deberás:

b. En la pared de la iglesia hay una imagen con baldosas y una frase, ¿Cuántas palabras componen la frase?

THE TOWER OF ALCOLECHA

Alcolecha (in Valencian and officially, Alcoleja) is a municipality of the Valencian Community, Spain. Located in the north of the province of Alicante, in the county of Cocentaina County. It has 184 inhabitants (INE 2015). It has an extension of 14.6 km2 and an altitude of 739 meters.
GEOGRAPHY
It is located between the northwest slope of the Sierra de Aitana, on the border of the regions of El Condado and the Marina Baja, which join at the port of Tudons (1027 m). Its limits are: to the north, Benasau; to the east, Confrides; to the west, Penáguila; and to the south, Sella.
Typical mountain town because of its proximity to the Sierra Aitana, the highest in the entire Province. Its municipal term is rugged, and hunting is usually practiced.
HISTORY
Alcolecha was populated by Moriscos until they were expelled in 1609 by Felipe III. His parish was attached to that of Penáguila until 1535, when with other parishes it was segregated to jointly form the parish of Ares. In 1574 it was established as an independent municipality, belonging to the Marquises of Malferit.
PARTIES
The festivities are held in August. They are celebrated in honor of San Vicente de Ferrer and the Virgen de los Desamparados. Various religious activities are held at parties, such as the procession of San Vicente de Ferrer, that of the Virgen de los Desamparados or the choral song at the Mass of the Virgin, although the most prominent and representative religious act is the "Cant de l 'Aurora' followed by a "xocolatada" for attendees held at dawn on Saturday. There are also recreational activities such as the costume party, festivals and a large paellada in the town square.
The pilgrimage of the Virgen de los Desamparados to the chapel of Beniafé, Alcoleja district, takes place on the second weekend of May, the transfer of the Virgin is carried out by women of the town.
THE CACHE
One of the most emblematic places in this small town is the tower and palace of the Marquises of Malferit which is located in the Plaza del Palau, next to the parish church of Alcoleja.
The most prominent elements of this palace house are the unique tower attached to the building, and the large gate with a semicircular arch. The tower is circular, with a truncated conical base, and topped by a conical roof of a later period. In her the shield of the family and several windowed ones are distinguished.
