Thor is the Norse god of thunder, a Marvel superhero and one of the original Avengers, and he's left his mark on Cardiff!
Thor has super-strength, is more-or-less immortal, and has the ability to channel lightning through his magic hammer, Mjolnir (along with many other abilities).
It looks as though one of his lightning bolts has gone astray and landed here, no doubt during some epic battle with the frost giants, trolls or other nefarious villains.
To claim this virtual cache, simply provide photographic evidence of your visit to this sculpture. Ideally I would like that this be a photo of yourself in front of the lightning bolt (preferably assuming an appropriately superheroic pose). According to the rules though, cachers cannot be required to show their faces, so if you choose to stay out of the pic please include your GPS device and some item (e.g. smartphone, watch or newspaper) showing the current date.
