Kuvaus:

Pyhäniemi on perinnemaisema, jossa on kansatieteellisesti merkittävä rakennuskanta. Rakennukset muodostavat pihapiireineen yhtenäisen, peltojen ympäröimän kokonaisuuden.

Peltoalueen pohjoispuolella on laaja kaskikoivikko. Miespihaa rajaavat 1800-luvun keskivaiheilla rakennettu hirsinen päärakennus, luhti, aittarivi ja aitta. Viereisen ns. puupihan varrella on liiterirakennuksia. Kapeaa karjapihaa reunustavat kivinavetta vuodelta 1866 ja hirsinen talli ja sikala. Särentäaitojen rajaaman tulotien varrella on sauna, riihi sekä latoja. Kaikki rakennukset ovat liki alkuperäisessä asussaan.

Historia

Pyhäniemi on 1700-luvulta lähtien asuttu paikka, joka muuttui torpasta talonpoikaistilaksi 1800-luvun alussa. Päärakennus rakennettiin 1856 ja sitä jatkettiin salipäädyllä 1866. Kivinavetta rakennettiin 1866.

Pyhäniemi kunnostettiin 1990-luvulla, ja se luokiteltiin perinnemaisemaksi ympäristöministeriön maisema-aluetyöryhmän mietinnössä.

Description:

Pyhäniemi is a traditional landscape with an ethnically significant building stock. The buildings and the courtyards form an integral whole, surrounded by fields.

There is a large burn-clearing birch forest to the north of the field. The manor yard is bordered by a log house, a loft, a barn and a granary built in the mid-19th century.
The narrow cattle yard is flanked by a stone barn from 1866 and a log barn and a pigsty. There is a sauna and a barn along the access road, which is bordered by fencing. All buildings are almost in their original appearance.

History:

Pyhäniemi is a populated place from the 18th century, which changed from a farmstead into a peasant farm in the early 19th century. The main building was built in 1856 and continued with the hall end in 1866. The stone barn was built in 1866.

Pyhäniemi was restored in the 1990s and was classified as a traditional landscape in a report from the Landscape Task Force of the Ministry of the Environment.
