After being lucky enough to be awarded one of this year's limited release virtual caches, a lot of thought had to go into it to making it special.
The area chosen has had a lot of changes over it's lifetime. This cache is to follow the changes from now on via a photograpic slide show. I have taken a photo from GZ, which is a nicely placed seat looking out over the inlet towards Rabbit Island / Moturoa. To your right is Hamish the Heron perched upon his pole, ahead and slightly to your left is the view of the entrance to the tidal inlet where ships used to come in to load at the wharf behind you.
LOGGING REQUIREMENTS: To qualify for this virtual, you need to post a photo in your log, taken as shown and described only. You and/or your GPS do not need to be in it. I DO NOT want SELFIES or photos of people or buildings in the area, although they can be in a general shot of the required area. Also in your log, describe your impressions of the weather and environment. For example, the day I took the photo was very cold and there were few people around, it was peaceful.
I will let you know if your log does not meet requirements and will delete if it does not get changed. Please do not send photo via message as that is not the requirement. Photo must be in your on line log.
