Geocache Description:

The Joy of Music

This cache celebrates the role music continues to play for us geocachers. Maybe it's a catchy little tune you hum as you wander through the woods toward today's goal, or maybe an advanced music puzzle you're creating to delight other cachers. And it all takes place in front of this renowned concert hall, where some of us dream of performing. Some of us may already have done so. :)

To log this cache, take a photo of yourself in front of the entrance while you perform some sort of music, be it singing, playing an instrument (bring your own) or whatever you might make into an instrument. Some part of you (or identifiable accessory such as GPS unit) and some part of the building must be in the photo. If you're bold, make the photo dramatic and flamboyant. If you want to be more discreet, you can see the building from the park on the other side of the street. The sidewalk and the park are public land. The area directly under the awning is private.

Even More Joy!

And if you feel like celebrating music even more, at the beginning of the year, there will soon be an additional way to add to your celebration. You will be able to play and sing with other geocachers, send in sound and video of yourself; it will all be cut together to a collaborative video. This is totally voluntary, and you don't need to do this to log the virtual cache.

For now, chords to play along to are: Am - D F C - B E in tempo 60BPM. Piano background to practice to: Straight or Jazzy. More about how to record and upload to come soon...
