Il lago di Tovel è un lago alpino situato nella val di Tovel a un'altitudine di 1178 m s.l.m. all'interno del Parco Naturale Adamello-Brenta. È soprannominato lago rosso per il fenomeno dell'arrossamento delle sue acque, che avveniva fino al 1964 per azione di un'alga (Tovellia sanguinea).
Narra un'antica leggenda che la ferma volontà di Tresenga, principessa di Ragoli, di non sposare Lavinto, re di Tuenno, interessato più alle terre che all'amore, sfociò in una terribile battaglia sulle rive del lago...

REQUISITI PER LOGGARE LA VIRTUAL:
- Scattare una foto insieme alla statua della regina Tresenga che trovete alle coordinate della virtual ovvero lo step 6 del percorso "Leggenda della Regina Tresenga".
- Nella foto dovrete indossare qualcosa di ROSSO. In alternativa, potete mostrare nella foto un foglio o le vostre mani timbrati con i timbri rossi che troverete alle tappe 2 e 6 (proprio a fianco alla statua).
- BONUS: molto gradite ma non obbligatorie foto della scheda con tutti i timbri e/o foto di questo splendido lago.
Lake Tovel is an alpine lake located in Val di Tovel at an altitude of 1178 m s.l.m. inside the Adamello-Brenta Natural Park. It is called "the red lake" due to the redness of its waters, which occurred until 1964 due to the action of an alga (Tovellia sanguinea).
An ancient legend tells that the firm will of Tresenga, princess of Ragoli, not to marry Lavinto, king of Tuenno, interested more in lands than in love, led to a terrible battle on the shores of the lake causing the massacre of Ragoli people. Blood dyed the waters red, returning every summer in memory of the beautiful Tresenga

REQUIREMENTS TO LOG THIS VIRTUAL:
- Take a picture with the statue of Queen Tresenga at the virtual coordinates which corresponds to the step 6 of the "Legend of Queen Tresenga" path.
- You have to wear something RED. Alternatively, you can show in the picture a piece of paper or your hands stamped with the red stamps that you will find in stamp stages 2 and/or 6 (right next to the statue).
- BONUS: very welcome but not mandatory photos of all the stamps and/or photos of this beautiful lake.
Der Tovelsee ist ein alpiner See im Val di Tovel auf 1178 m.ü.M. innerhalb des Naturparks Adamello-Brenta. Wegen der Rötung seines Wassers, die bis 1964 durch eine Algen-Art (Tovellia sanguinea) auftrat, wird er "der rote See" genannt.
Eine alte Legende besagt, dass der Wille von Tresenga, Prinzessin von Ragoli, Lavinto, König von Tuenno, nicht zu heiraten, der sich mehr für Ländereien als für die Liebe interessiert, zu einer schrecklichen Schlacht am Ufer des Sees und einem Massaker an der Bevölkerung Ragolis führte. Das Blut färbte das Wasser rot und kehrte jeden Sommer zum Gedenken an die schöne Tresenga zurück.

ANFORDERUNGEN, UM DIESEN CACHE ZU PROTOKOLLIEREN::
- Mache ein Foto mit der Statue der Königin Tresenga an den virtuellen Koordinaten, was dem Schritt 6 des Pfades "Legende der Königin Tresenga" entspricht.
- Du musst etwas ROTES tragen. Alternativ kannst Du im Bild ein Blatt Papier oder deine Hände mit den roten Stempeln zeigen, die Du an den Stempelstellen 2 und/oder 6 (direkt neben der Statue) findest.
- BONUS: Sehr willkommen, aber nicht obligatorisch sind Fotos von allen Stempeln und/oder Fotos von diesem malerischen See.
