Nad obcou Klin, kúsok od Námestova stojí takmer identická socha Krista, ako je tá v brazílskom Riu. Stále viac a viac sa stáva vyhľadávaným miestom domácich aj zahraničných turistov. Tento pozoruhodný monument sa nachádza v nadmorskej výške 686 metrov. Samotná socha má výšku úctihodných 9,5 metra a rozpätie rúk Krista má 7 metrov. Spolu aj s podstavcom váži okolo 23 ton. Socha tu stojí od roku 2008 a zaujímavosťou je aj, že je v poradí treťou kópiou slávnej brazílskej sochy, tá druhá je v Lisabone.
S výnimkou obrovskej sochy Krista vieme hore nájsť malý park s lavičkami, altánok aj sochu pápeža Jána Pavla II. Celkový areál je ako stvorený na oddych a načerpanie novej energie. Vidieť Oravskú priehradu, Roháče v pozadí a pri dobrom počasí vidieť až do poľského Zakopaného.

Above the village of Klin, not far from Námestovo, there is an almost identical statue of Christ as the one in Rio, Brazil. More and more, it is becoming a popular place for domestic and foreign tourists. This remarkable monument is located at an altitude of 686 meters. The statue itself is a respectable 9.5 meters high and the span of Christ's hands is 7 meters. Together with the base, it weighs about 23 tons. The statue has been standing here since 2008 and it is also interesting that it is the third copy of the famous Brazilian statue, the second is in Lisbon.
With the exception of the huge statue of Christ, we can find a small park with benches, a gazebo and a statue of Pope John Paul II. The whole area around it looks neat and is perfect for relaxing and recharging new energy. I'm not even talking about the view of the surrounding country. You can see the Orava Dam, Roháče in the background and in good weather you can see all the way to Zakopane, Poland.
Attach a photo taken near the statue YOURSELF WITH EXPANDED HANDS WITH THE ENTIRE STATUE of Jesus Christ. Logs without such a photo will be deleted. Nice creative photos will please. We thank you.
