Geocache Description:

Eye Spy With My Robot Eye, Part 4 of 4

The Kanata Autobot Academy is a private school for gifted Transformers. It teaches young Autobots a wide range of skills that will eventually lead to prestigious careers in the Autobot ranks - such as an infantry soldier, or part of the Marine Defence Force, or becoming an Autobot Scout, etc.

The teachers are designing a new exam that the students must pass if they are to graduate as an Autobot Scout. The most important skill an Autobot Scout needs is the skill of observation. This new exam will consist of four parts or challenges, with each challenge being harder than the previous one.

Part 1 taught the upcoming Autobot Scout how to use technology such as Google Maps and Street View to aid in scouting activities, Part 2 tested their ability distinguish an unmarked Autobot from all the other normal cars out there, Part 3 tested their ability to distinguish a 'non-traditional' Autobot. Part 4 (this part) is even harder; it requires all the skills from the first three parts, and a high aptitude in "remote spatial awareness".

As a reference, the other parts of the Autobot Scout exam are:

Part 4:
To answer the questions below, you will have to visit Tokyo by navigating to the following page:
http://gigapan.com/gigapans/216540

The camera sits on top of Ebisu Garden Place, one of Tokyo's skyscrapers. The building is 167m height and consists of offices, department stores, restaurants, and museums. We can see a beautiful view of Tokyo on the top floor. Unknown to the average person, the city is bustling with a wide range of Autobots and Decepticons.

The answers will reveal the location of a hidden Energon cylinder. The final challenge will be a battle of self doubt... as you approach the final, you may double guess yourself... but stay strong and believe in yourself and you will find what you seek.

A: White Decepticon van, facing to the right. Let A be equal to the 3 digit number on the front of his licence plate (how fitting for a Decepticon)
He is located at: N35° 38.599' E139° 42.921'

B: Only the back of this Autobot truck is visible. He is facing to the left. On the back of the truck are the words "XXXXX Soft Drinks". Take the alpha sum (not digital root) of the word in 'XXXXX'.
He is located at: N35° 38.555' E139° 42.940'

C: There are some cars parked in this numbered parking lot. There is one Decepticon car that is facing to the right. Let C be equal to the parking spot number he is in, multiplied b 10.
He is located at: N35° 38.485' E139° 43.186'

D: At this location is an Autobot truck that is facing us. On his front licence plate are 2, 2-digit numbers. D is equal to the sum of those two numbers (D = XY + XZ).
He is located at: N35° 38.602' E139° 42.995'

E: The spirit of a long deceased Autobot bus rests here. This bus is facing us. E is equal to the 3 digit number found on his front licence plate.
He is located at: N35° 38.641' E139° 42.922'

F: There is a building with a sign on it that Autobots approve of. What is the name of the automobile manufacturing company on it. Let F be the alpha sum of that name (not digital root).
It is located at: N35° 38.797' E139° 42.808'

G: There is a truck that is driving and facing us at this location. G is 100 if the truck is red, 200 if it is blue, 300 if it is white.
He is located at: N35° 38.774' E139° 43.520'

H: At this location you should spot a van with a blue face on it. To the left of this van is another van, and on the back side of that van is a single letter painted in blue. H is the alpha sum of that single letter multiplied by 10.
He is located at: N35° 38.643' E139° 43.257'

J: There is Decepticon of the Constructicon faction here. On this Decepticon (middle / bottom) is a word. Let J be equal to the alpha sum of that word (not digital root).
He is located at: N35° 38.496' E139° 43.294'

K: K is equal to 100 if a stack of Autobot mobility devices is found here, K is equal to 200 if it looks like many Decepticons are scouting, disguised as birds, K is equal to 300 if it looks like the Decepticons bombed an Autobot Hideout.
It is located at: N35° 38.524' E139° 43.010'

Final:
Add up your answers from A to E and call this X. Confirmation: The DR of X is 1.
X + 14034 = the last 5 digits of the North.

Add up your answers from F to K and call this Y. Confirmation: The DR of Y is 4.
Y + 892 = the last 4 digits of the West.

Congratulations on completing the Autobot Scout exam. What you will find at the location of this cache should serve as a reminder that you will always need to be on guard against the evil Decepticons... otherwise you will end up like what you find at the final location...

Update: Since the gigapan image is no longer available, here are the answers as to what you would find when it was available.

Be sure to private message me if you know of any other undiscovered Autobot burial grounds (old cars/trucks/motorcycles/skidoos or random scraps of metal) in, or near, Ottawa ;) - and don't forget to 'favorite' these if you are enjoying the series (this also increases the visibility of this series, and will draw in more cachers).
