You are invited to join Mr P in celebrating climbing all the Wainwrights in the one year since we moved up here from Kent. There wil be cake. The catch is that you have to climb Lingmoor Fell. If you have not been here before there is also a real cache to grab- Lingmoor Fell GCWCB9.
The easiest way to the summit of Lingmoor Fell is just 1km up the track that leaves the road 0.5km north of the NT carpark at Blea Tarn. With 260m of climb this is one of the easier Wainwrights. Mr P has left it to last so that his long suffering wife - thats me MrsPuffin, stands a chance of getting up there. If its very hot there might be swimming in Blea Tarn afterwards.
