The Parker is the 1st in a series of 4 geocaches placed for my four grandsons.
The cache is out on Heanan Point on Lake of the Woods. It can be accessed by road or by water if your "OK" landing your boat on a rocky shoreline. The land is all Crown Land so public access is fine. If you approach by road, stay under the powerlines to the last pole to remain on Crown Land, after that the whole point is Crown. There are deer trails that may help you get there but some light bushwacking is likely. The cache is a medium/large Lock & Lock plastic container in camo. A tear out FTF page in the log boook and the usual assortment of goodies that would be of interest to young childern.
While your there have a seat on the green Aldo Leopold bench higher up on the hill and enjoy the view. Perhhaps if the timing is right you'll catch a spectacular sunset.
