Altitude is 8,237 ft. I would pay the price, it is one STEEP hike! A 10 in difficulty and 10 in terrain if you don't. BUT worth the $$ to go there.
This is my fourth trip to the Lake area. I just love this area. I'll drive 8 hours to get here on a weekend! It is God's Country where you can get close to the wildlife! WOW! The scenery from on top the mountain is awesome! Pay the price, it is breath-taking! If you don't pay the price, it is litterally BREATH-TAKING just to get there!!! Cache is a plastic container well hidden. Original contents are: Hollowgraphic Glasses, Yu-Gi-Oh cards, Wash cloth, First aid kit, Har-money, 3-d Z cards, starter Log, Play doh, Ear plugs, Lotion, Super bouncy ball, and a Helocopter.
