Summer is here and so is another installment of Hanging on the Hudson. This year we will meet at the Rensselaer boat launch for what will prove to be another great time of hanging out with fellow geocachers. Like last year the plan will be simple: we gather to chat and hang out and when the event ends we can hit the water. Provided will be sandwiches and chips and a cooler with assorted drinks. Feel free to bring a dish or snack to share. We will plan a group picture before the event winds down and (budget allowing) attendees will receive a water themed geocoin. To be considered for the geocoin please post your "will attend" by July 4th.
To be clear, a kayak or boat is not needed to make this event. The event will be held on the shore of the Hudson at the Rensselaer boat launch. Ample parking exists here as well as a bathroom (port-a-potty) and picnic tables. When the event ends I will be launching my kayak. Joining me on the water is optional. I hope to see you next month.
