The Exeter community garden is a joint initiative between the University’s grounds team and the Students’ Guild. Founded in June 2011, the community garden started with six vegetable beds and a bee hive donated by the Psychology Department. Today the garden has an orchard of heritage fruit trees, a glass house built by volunteers, a wooden hut (the observatory), two polytunnels and a cob seat. In 2015, an area of the orchard was made into a physic garden to promote mental wellbeing and the importance of green spaces.
You don't need to enter the garden to retrieve the cache, but entry is freely permitted and it's interesting to wander around and see what's growing.
