Geocache Description:

The church:

The parish church of Farringdon is dedicated to St. Petrock and St. Barnabas. It is a grade II* listed building dated from the 12th Century. It was re-built in 1870, but retains its original Norman font, and was almost certainly constructed on a former Pagan site.

The cache:

This is intended to be a straightforward two-stage multi. It requires the collection of some numbers from a monument within the churchyard and the finding of a final container a short distance away. You are looking for a camouflaged bison tube.

The headline coordinates will take you to a small walled area within the churchyard.

Find the memorial for William Charles Skinner and his wife Elsie Annie.

William died in the year ABC0

Elsie died on DE November, 1981 aged 9F.

The coordinates of the physical cache are:

N 50° (C - A) D . (E - D) (C + D) A

W 003° (F / D) (D + A) . (B - D) (C + F) A

The cache itself should be a straightforward find as the hiding place should be fairly obvious once at GZ. There's no need to untether the cache - you should be able to retrieve the log without doing so.
