This is my first - and probably only! - attempt at a Wherigo cache. It is a simple walk around with questions to answer, intended to give a good tour of the Parkland of Cliffe Castle , once the home of Keighley businessman and millionaire Henry Isaac Butterfield, whose influence spread across the globe. The building has lost a lot of its original features but remains a jewel in Keighley's crown and has recently been the subject of a much-needed renovation, particularly to the glasshouse and cafe.
There is no requirement to enter the buildings.
A history of the Park and the Butterfield family can be found by clicking on the photograph

The museum (free to enter) has many fascinating exhibits, including rooms as they would have been in H.I.B.'s time.
Musuem opening times as of 26 June 2022:
Monday - closed
Tuesday - Friday 10 - 4
Saturday - Sunday 11 - 4

The Gallery hosts exhibitions of art and photography from time to time.

Outside, in the Park are a well-equipped playground and a small menagerie for the children, with a cafe for the grown-ups. The glasshouse has a good selection of desert-type flora.

The header co-ordinates are for the free car park.
The cartridge (tested on a couple of Android machines - I trust it will be OK on other platforms) may be downloaded here.
Please be aware that there is a Park Run every Saturday morning. The park will be busy until lunchtime at least (or, if I'm taking part, sometime next week!)
