Geocache Description:

The cache is NOT at the above coordinates. To work out the correct coordinates, you'll need to solve the puzzle below.

The difficulty rating represents working out the puzzle not finding the cache itself. I would advise you succeed with getting good coordinates for Five go geocaching - which footpath? GC89C33 before attempting to solve this puzzle.

Once the geochecker says Success!, the cache will not give you any difficulties to find and probably could even be done as a Cache 'n' Dash. The terrain can be a little tricky though so take care. There is a small layby near to true GZ if you prefer to park and walk.

All around the country summertime is usually accompanied by the traditional Village Show. This Mystery puzzle has been set with this theme in mind.

The Village Show
Five locals from nearby villages entered the cake baking competition in their local Village Show and were awarded prizes according to how good their cake tasted. As with typical village shows, each person also exhibited their best home-grown vegetable.

No person has the same name, surname, village origin, cake flavour or exhibited vegetable.

Using the following statements, work out the name and surname of each person, their village of residence, the cake they baked, the type of vegetable they also exhibited and the order that they were placed on the podium for their cake (1st to 5th place).

The person from Abberton baked a Chocolate fudge cake.

Alana exhibited Beetroot but isn’t called Davis.

The person who baked a Lemon drizzle cake is from Fingringhoe.

The person that made a Victoria Sponge cake was placed higher than the person that exhibited Leeks.

Felicity was proud of her Carrot cake.

The middle-placed person is called Fitzgerald.

The person who won first prize also exhibited Runner beans.

Mrs Hart found herself on the podium next to the person from Malting Green.

The Marrows were grown in Layer de La Haye.

The person that displayed Carrots was placed next to Felicity.

The Victoria Sponge was baked by Mrs Cooper.

The person that grew Runner beans for the show was placed next to Julia.
