Trieste is renowned for being surrounded by steep hills with many people living on slopes overlooking the sea. The location of this Cache is in a typical area where houses are built on the slopes where the roads are cobbled. The slopes used to be fields of grass and the cobbles have been laid with little foundations so are subject to dips and troughs that make walking and driving up them a challenge! I am still amazed how people park on these hills without much concern or trouble and how people who have lived here all their lives walk up them in their old age carrying bags of shopping with little effort like mountain goats. I would recommend parking at the bottom of the hill but if you are very brave and have good brakes you can drive up at your own risk. The cache is also available by catching a bus from Paizza Oberdan either the 38 (to approach from the top) or the 42, 44 or 46 (to approach from the bottom). The cache can be found while walking up or down the steps at the top of the hill in the wall and is a black film canister. You will need to bring your own pen. Enjoy!

Trieste è rinomata per essere circondata da colline ripide con molte persone che vivono sulle pendici a picco sul mare. La posizione di questa cache si trova in una zona tipica in cui le case sono costruite sui pendii dove le strade sono acciottolate. I pendii erano campi di erba e ciottoli sono stati posati con piccole fondamenta quindi sono soggetti a cali e avvallamenti che rendono la marcia e la guida su di loro una sfida! Sono ancora stupito di come la gente parcheggi su queste colline senza troppe preoccupazioni o problemi e come le persone che hanno vissuto qui tutta la loro vita a camminare su di loro nella loro vecchiaia portando borse di spesa con poco sforzo come capre di montagna. Consiglierei di parcheggiare in fondo alla collina, ma se sei molto coraggioso e hai un buon freno puoi guidare a tuo rischio e pericolo. Il cache è disponibile anche prendendo un autobus da Paizza Oberdan o il 38 (per avvicinarsi dall'alto) o il 42, 44 o 46 (per avvicinarsi dal basso). Il cache può essere trovato mentre si cammina su o giù per i gradini in cima alla collina nel muro ed è un contenitore di film nero. Dovrai portare la tua penna. Godere!
