Years ago there was a cache here at this cemetery but it seems to have been archived.
The North Valentia Cemetery is a United Cemetery. To my research, I believe that this cemetery is no longer in "operation".
Some interesting facts that I came across in regards to this cemetery are between 1866 and 1867 there were a lot of children and infant deaths, as approximately 1/3 of this cemetery is this age group. There was a cholera epidemic in North America between 1866 and 1873. The oldest moment I found was 1858 (which is 3 years younger than the first monument at the South Valentia Cemetery.), and the most recent and I believe last monument placed was in 2005.
It's a beautiful old location with a lot of history. I truly do enjoy the history in these smaller cemeteries.
