The Puzzle
A geocacher is attending a mega event, and since they are such a nice person, they have decided to make some biscuits to share with other cachers at the event. This cacher is very precise and likes to know all the measurments of the biscuits so they know how much ingredients to get and so on.
The cacher makes the biscuits with a radius of 8 centimeters. Each biscuit has two eyes and a mouth cut out of it. At a glance, each eye appears to be circular. However on closer inspection, the cacher finds that each eye is a 617 sided regular polygon with side length of 0.02 centimetres. The mouth is shaped like the letter D. The straight side has a length of 13 centimetres and the curved side would fit into a circle with a radius of seven centimeters.
The cacher bakes their biscuits in a rectangular tray (That is, a four sided tray with two sets of equal sides with corners of 90 degrees) that can fit 16 biscuits around the outside of the tin and more in the inside. Biscuits are aranged in ordered rows and columns. The big question is what is the maximum amount of biscuit area that can fit in the tray at one time so that only whole amounts of biscuits can fit in in their ordered rows an columns. (Simply, find the area of one biscuit and multiply it by the number of biscuits the tray can fit.)
Take this number and round it to the nearest unit. This number is described as ABCD.
