This event/meet is to mark a milestone for ddm - this being his 100th attended - of course this won't be recorded until after the event at which point there will be several challenges qualified for, this has taken ddm a long time - but worth the wait.
ddm did think of celebrating this milestone with a beer at home but decided to enjoy the moment with other cachers - hence the event.
ddm went to his first event back in 2006 which was held in London - this was called 'March to the River' hosted by Team tsiri and was their one and only event. There were 22 attendees on that occasion.
In 2016 ddm attended an event celebrating the 10th anniversary of that 'March to the River meet. 33 attendees however only 3 of the original attendees from the 2006 event were at that meet ddm, Goldpot (who hosted the latter one) and Martybartfast. It transpired the 2006 event was the first for all three.
ddm hosted his first meet in 2010 - this was the 11th Kent monthly event. 20 attendees. This was held at the same place as this, hence the choice for location.

The nearest attended event to ddms 'home' was only 2 miles ATCF, held in 2015 aptly called 'Celebrating Mole day' which was to link in with the unofficial 'holiday' celebrated among chemists, chemistry students and chemistry enthusiasts on October 23, between 6:02am and 6:02am - attendees brought along 'mole' related items including plush toys, books and keyrings.
The furthest that ddm has attended was one held in Wellington, New Zealand - 11,703 miles from 'Home' ATCF, earlier this year.
The most events held by another cacher that ddm has attended is 7 and this is currently a tie between Sir Lancelot and Charlton11 - the same number of events hosted by ddm too (until this one that is).
