Here you will find yourself at one of a number of “Falldowns” in Kowen forest. They are called Falldowns by the nearby landowner. These Falldowns were build in the 1960s, when Lake Burley Griffin was being created. They were designed to filter sediment and to control erosion, to prevent it flowing into the new lake.
