Geocache Description:


Welcome to Hog Alley! The Geocache you are looking for is a micro sized cache container. Bring your own pen or pencil. This geocache is located on a recently completed walking and bike path in Old Metairie. The walking and bike path was built when they covered a canal that still runs underneath the path to a pumping station at the 17th St Canal. A long time ago this area of Old Metairie was called "Hog Alley". It was named Hog Alley because of several hog farms in the area. This walking and bike path already has two other geocaches along it and we wanted to put one out before there was no space for any more. We hope you have fun finding this geocache make sure you enjoy the walking and bike path while you are out.
