This is the second of six superhero caches placed in Rolfs Park for the 2019 West Bend Cache Ba$h, with this one featuring ELASTIGIRL. A trail map is shown below to make it easier to get to all six caches.
The parking lot is located just off of 18th Avenue at N43° 24.325 W88° 12.120. Total hiking distance for all six is approximately 1.2 to 1.5 miles round trip from the parking lot, depending on your route. The trailhead for entrance into the nature preserve portion of the park is just off the end of the parking lot at N43° 24.332 W88° 12.157. Suggested route to find all six is to go in a counter-clockwise direction along the trail. You might want to stay on the trail until you get to N43° 24.523 W88° 12.252, at which time you’ll go off trail about 185 feet to the Elastigirl cache.
ROLFS PARK
Rolfs Park features two parks in one: a 10 acre fenced-in off leash dog park, and the 30 acre Rolfs Nature Preserve (dogs not allowed in the nature preserve). All of the caches here are located in the nature preserve, not in the dog park.
ELASTIGIRL
Elastigirl is a superhero who possesses superhuman elasticity, granting her the ability to stretch any part of her body to great proportions. She, her husband, and their three children all possess super powers, and are part of the superhero team known as The Incredibles. A unique mode of transportation for Elastigirl is her custom Elasticycle, an electric jet-powered super-motor bike that can break up into two unicycles, giving her the advantage to use her elasticity while riding. Each wheel has a motor so the two halves can be independently powered.
