Join us for the next NW London cachers' event on Sunday 14 July from 12noon to 2pm. We're returning to the scenic Old Redding for a picnic and to enjoy the sweeping views across London.
Bring a picnic, a picnic blanket, and whatever you need to enjoy lunch in the sun! (We have no wet weather plan at the moment so please do your sun dance and come equipped if the weather isn't on our side...) Not only is it Bastille Day, it's very close to Trikonasana's 10th anniversary of caching (and meeting LinseyG...), so do come along and join the celebration!
There is plenty of parking at the waypoint, and Old Redding is also easily accessible by bike for those who don't mind a bit of a hill. The 258 bus route (which stops at both Harrow on the Hill and Harrow & Wealdstone stations) passes along the A409 / Brookshill a short walk away. We'll be on the grass as close to the co-ordinates as possible. It's a popular area so there may be other picnic groups - look for the GPSs! Please be aware there are no public loos.
There are a number of caches in the area, and various local and historical points of interest for anyone wishing to make a day of it.
The NW London cachers' events are an occasional series of events organised by LinseyG, mbtkz and Trikonasana. Previous attendees and first-timers equally welcome and we'd love to see as many old and new friends as can make it.
