Geocache Description:

01 July 2019, 12:00 - 12:30

Event is from 12:00 to 12:30

12:00 noon - 12:15 Feel free to wander around randomly, chatting, enjoying the view, and otherwise pretending we're just any other park users. I will be nearby looking as unofficial as possible. Please come and find me before 12:15. I will have some Canada Day flags for you for the photo and most importantly water balloons!!!

At precisely 12:15pm We will confuse onlookers by suddenly assembling at the listed coordinates for a photo.

At approximately 12:17pm You will hear a whistle blow which will be the signal for you to toss your water balloons straight up in the air...or at your friend if you like! If you don't want to get wet, you can run away really fast or just lie down and play dead. No guarantees it will work though!

What to bring: So we can look maximally cool in the photo, if you have them, please wear your red & white clothes, Happy Canada Day t-shirts, face paint, baseball caps etc.!!

Parking: I would suggest you park on East Kent Avenue North, just West of Elliott Street then walk the 400m to the event. Alternatively, you can park on SE Marine Drive and walk down Elliott Street. You can try parking elsewhere, but it's a super busy area and you likely won't have much luck.

Transit: Nearest bus stop is SE Marine Drive & Elliot Street (#100), which is a 500m walk to the event

Amenities: The park has washrooms, a playground, and a nice view of the Fraser River

Dogs OK, but they must be leashed.
